  • Shoulder width: Measure across the back of the body from the outer edge of one shoulder bone (where the arm meets the shoulder) straight across to the same point on the other shoulder.

  • Chest circumference: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, passing the tape under the armpits and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and not too tight.

  • Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder point (where the shoulder meets the arm) down along the outside of the arm to the wrist bone.

  • Clothing length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the neck, straight down the front of the body to the desired length (usually hip or below).
